Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

Nutriguide is operated by Raj Information Systems. If you signed in to Nutriguide using Facebook Login, this page explains what data we receive from Meta, how to delete it, and how long deletion takes.

1. Data we receive from Facebook

When you choose "Continue with Facebook," we may receive and store:

• Your Facebook user ID (stored as facebookId on your Nutriguide account)
• Name and email address (if you grant the email and public_profile permissions)
• Account and app data you create in Nutriguide while signed in (for example scan history, preferences, shopping lists, and nutrition settings)

We do not post to Facebook on your behalf. We use this information only to authenticate you and provide the Nutriguide service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

2. Delete your Nutriguide account and associated data

To request deletion of your Nutriguide account and personal data (including data linked to Facebook Login):

1. Send an email from the address associated with your Nutriguide account to privacy@nutriguide.app.
2. Use the subject line: Nutriguide account deletion request.
3. In the message, include:
   • The email address on your Nutriguide account
   • That you signed in with Facebook (optional but helps us locate your account faster)
   • Confirmation that you want your account and personal data deleted

We will verify your identity using the account email, then delete or anonymize your account and associated personal data within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law. We will email you when the request is completed or if we need more information.

3. Remove Nutriguide from your Facebook account

Deleting your Nutriguide account does not automatically remove the app connection in Facebook. To revoke access on Meta's side:

1. Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings
2. Go to Apps and Websites (or Business integrations on some devices)
3. Select Nutriguide (or the name shown for our app)
4. Choose Remove / Delete

You can also visit facebook.com/settings?tab=applications while logged in to Facebook.

4. Data we delete

After a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize, as applicable:

• Your Nutriguide user profile and credentials
• Facebook provider ID (facebookId) and other social login identifiers on your account
• Health, nutrition, allergen, and preference data tied to your account
• Scan history, shopping lists, favorites, and other user-generated content stored for your account

Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked to you may be retained for analytics and service improvement.
